My Birthday Excursion

Happy New Year everyone! I hope all of you had a lovely holiday season. Just a quick "Photo Friday" today, as I work on my next "Place to Call Home" post.

As some of you know I turned 29 on December 14th. A few days later on my day off I took a snowshoe trip up to Mt. Hood here in Oregon. It has become a tradition for me to take an annual trek in the snow around my birthday. It was a beautiful day and I would like to share some pictures with you.

This tree seems to have built itself a fort

... And again

See...I really was there

  1. What an amazing place to hike or snowshoe! That second shot is gorgeous!

Happy belated birthday. I am often in a reflective move when the clock turns another year on my life. Thanks for sharing this beautiful space.

  2. My pleasure. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
